We’re Hiring: Full-Time Research & Writing Associate Attorney

Sedey Harper Westhoff, P.C., St. Louis’ premier plaintiffs’ employment law firm, is excited to announce that we are seeking a Full-Time Research & Writing Associate Attorney to join our dedicated team.

About the Position

This position focuses on high-level legal research, writing, and appellate work. As part of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the outcomes of employment law and personal injury cases in Missouri and Illinois.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth legal research
  • Drafting legal memoranda and briefs for dispositive motions, complex discovery issues, and trial preparation
  • Preparing jury instructions and researching instructional issues
  • Writing appellate briefs and arguing cases on appeal
  • Assisting attorneys with oral arguments and trial-related legal issues

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an attorney with 5–7 years of legal experience, a strong background in research and writing, and a passion for advocacy.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate and Missouri law license (Illinois license preferred but not required)
  • Outstanding research and writing skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Confidence in presenting legal arguments, particularly at the appellate level
