Sarah Taylor
We want the best outcome for you, whether that is an excellent severance package, a negotiated settlement, or a vigorously prosecuted lawsuit. We are advocates for you, recognized locally and nationally as formidable lawyers.
About
Sarah focuses on addressing the complex legal issues that arise when advocating for individuals experiencing employment problems. Before joining Sedey Harper Westhoff, she litigated a variety of matters for individuals, businesses, local governments, insurance companies, employers and employees. Her practice in a local medium-sized firm included personal injury defense, inverse condemnation, insurance defense, unemployment hearings, breach of contract, and representing employees bringing claims for violations of their civil rights. She represented clients in trial courts throughout the state of Missouri, federal district courts, arbitration, administrative hearings, the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the Eighth Circuit. Because of her past defense experience, Sarah uniquely understands how defendant attorneys strategize and evaluate cases. She understands the different considerations facing individual clients versus business or governmental clients in legal and employment conflicts. She uses that knowledge to better advocate for her individual clients.
